Matura Shtetërore aconsists of a set of exams drafted, supervised, and marked by the Albanian Ministry of Education. They mark the completion of the compulsory education in Albania and are a legal requirement for all Albanian speaking students residing in Albania for a placement in public and private universities in Albania.

These exams are in Albanian language only.

The curriculum delivered at Kings TIrana enables all Albanian speaking students to sit Matura Shtetërore exams.

Non-Albanian students do not have to sit these exams and they are the only category that are allowed to opt out.
