Key stage 3 (11-14 years old)

Key stage 3 is a phase of lower secondary education for pupils aged 11 to 14 years old that spans over four academic years.At the end of Key stage 3 pupils undergo standardised exams for the subjects that they have attended in order to assess their level of attainment.

Is this programme for my child ?
  • The curriculum of Key stage 3 can be accessed by most pupils who have reached the age of 11 years old, and have attained a certain level of proficiency in English.

You will have regular personal progress testing and skills analysis

We use the Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT 4) to assess your abilities, academic potential and learning preferences.

Very small classes

There are about 18 students per class at Kings.

This means plenty of one-to-one contact with your teacher.
