Kings is hiring a Key Stage 2 Teacher who is able to create a positive and supportive learning environment and develop activities so that students are able to practice in a meaningful context. Teachers should plan and deliver learning activities which reflect the school’s cross curricular, child led approach. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver and assess learning opportunities based on the Pearson iPrimary curriculum and any other curriculum documents used within the school.

As a class teacher you will have overall responsibility for the planning, delivery and assessment of the core and foundation subjects. You will also be taking the lead on the pastoral care of the students in your class. In addition to the planning, teaching and assessment of learning, teachers will also be responsible for delivery of our extra-curricular programme, break duty supervision and building and maintaining good relationships with parents and careers.

• Experience teaching in using a thematic or child centred approach (I.P.C./I.B.)
• Experience with British National Curriculum and its standardized assessments
• Experience teaching in an international setting.
• Experience of a Mastery approach to teaching Maths.
